Act when someone may be at risk.
This website is not an emergency service and is not monitored continuously. Use the correct urgent route first.
Immediate danger or a serious crime
Call 999 now. If it is unsafe to speak on a mobile, call 999 and press 55 when prompted.
Urgent health or mental-health help
- Call 999 for a life-threatening emergency.
- Call NHS 111 or use 111.nhs.uk when urgent medical or mental-health advice is needed and it is not a 999 emergency.
- Call 101 to report a non-emergency crime.
Adult safeguarding concerns
Contact the adult safeguarding team for the local authority where the adult lives. If you are a professional, follow your organisation’s safeguarding procedure and make a referral to the relevant local authority without delay.
If the concern relates to an Enriched Care service, also contact our head office on 01753 206780 or info@enrichedcare.co.uk. Do not rely on email or the website form when urgent action is needed.
What to share
Share what you saw or heard, the immediate risk, when it happened, who may be involved and what action has already been taken. Record facts and the person’s own words where possible. Do not investigate the concern yourself or confront someone if that could increase risk.
Our response
We will take immediate protective action where needed, preserve relevant information, notify the appropriate safeguarding or emergency services and cooperate openly with professional enquiries. People who raise genuine concerns will be treated respectfully.
